Originally used for food preparation and service this makes a striking shallow bowl for fruit, decorative groups or plants.
Particularly useful as a container for candles; the melted wax immediately solidifies on contact with the cool marble surface and can easily be removed.
35cm diameter and 43cm to end of handle.
Slight damage to end of handle...of long standing and has mellowed to same colour as the handle.
