Marble platter..pale cream
Lovely vintage marble platter from Northern India.
Very attractive pale cream stone.
These were used for food preparation and presentation.
When washed and left to drain were propped up to show the decorative underside with lotus flower design.
This is such a lovely example.
Use for a cheeseboard or as a safe surface for lit candles.
